The Jobs available in the North Dakota Oil Fields are not for the faint of heart. However, jobs associated with population growth and a scarce labor force are available for just about anyone. Who would have thought you could earn $15 per hour working at a fast food joint? Or, even being offered a signing bonus and health insurance working at Arbys!?
It’s true. In Western North Dakota this is today’s reality. If you want to get a job working directly for an oil company or an oil service company, there are not many requirements. Most only require a high school diploma or a GED and a successful passing of a drug test. Service company jobs are the least difficult to secure. Service companies handle everything from well service to well completion (fracking/fracing).
